The guys will be making a store appearance @ Uprise in The Parks at Arlington mall (Arlington, TX) at 5PM on September 18th. If you are in the area come say hi!
In a move that is sure to please all true fans of great music, Universal Music Group has made moves to slash the prices of Cds and tapes alike. The new price point could be as low as $9.99. MxPx's BE&A should be one of the earliest Cd's to benefit from this - and we are very happy for that!
You can check out a story on the cuts here.
MxPx featured as the cover story in the September
fall preview issue of Alternative Press magazine!
"People don’t really know us, and maybe that’s a good thing." Yes! It’s true! Our favorite band will be the cover story of the October issue of AP magazine due out September 4th. The boys recently sat down to chat with Alternative Press Publisher and CEO Mike Shea, while on a short trip to New York to do a show at Randall’s Island. This is bound to be the most in depth piece ever written on MxPx! Expect to see some great photos, along with plenty of info on the new album Before Everything & After.
MxPx has been chosen by Director John Landis to cover a few songs for the upcoming 25th anniversary edition of National Lampoon’s ANIMAL HOUSE!
The guys will cover the Animal House “theme” song, and the well known party song “Shout”!
The band shot a video for “Shout” in mid June that will be included on the special anniversary DVD that is scheduled for release August 26th.
MxPx will also be playing the relaunch party for the Animal House DVD. The guys will be playing somewhere around 4 to 6 songs at the red carpet event August 21st.
Stay tuned for more info!
