Happy Holidays MxPx style!
Hey everyone... just wanted to let you know we're trying something new this Christmas.
Our annual Fanclub Christmas song will be available online as a download. We'll have album art, a Christmas greeting, and some other fun stuff up there as well. So check out "It's Christmas And I'm Sick" over at www.fanclub.mxpx.com
We're taking a more DIY approach to many of our projects, so it's all being done 100% by us. Hope you like it!
The song will be available into the new year, so you still have time to sign up and get it!
To all the Pokinatcha Punks who received multiple copies of our last email newsletter:
Sorry! This was an embarrassing glitch with our mailing server. Completely unintentional, and we have made changes to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks for your understanding! If you have unsubscribed, do not worry - you won't receive the next newsetter. But then, you won't have any info on the next contest either :)
The next newsletter will arrive soon (and ONCE), so keep an eye out for it....
The MxPx Web Team
While it is true that there were dates for Europe posted on the MxPx Tour page, those dates were somehow posted prematurely and we apologize for that.
The tour was almost confirmed and then we got news that some of the promoters were shuffling dates and venues to avoid conflict with other tours going through Europe at the same time. ie: Green Day, Good Charlotte. The end result was that the MxPx tour got longer and longer with big holes in the schedule.. It had come to the point where it was going to interfere with the time scheduled for the band to record the new record due out mid 2005. Management made the decision to postpone Europe and is hoping to have it rescheduled for late Winter or Spring of 2005.
It is unlikely that many of these shows had tickets on sale yet, but in the event that you have purchased tickets, please contact the location where you purchased them and request a refund.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment that this mishap has caused anyone and would like to reemphasize that, except in this particular case, "it isn't official until announced on mxpx.com".
